-International Olympiads Awardee
-JEE Advanced All India Rank -9
-An Indian child prodigy in Mathematics & Science
I’m a Fresher at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB) and had achieved an All India Rank 9 in the prestigious JEE Advanced. Born 18 August 2004, I am the son of a dentist couple Rajesh Gadhiwala and Premal Gadhiwala. I completed my primary education at Delhi Public School and from 9th to 12th I was at Scholar English Academy. Currently, I am pursuing a BTech degree in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay.
I have represented India in various International Olympiads. I am a two-time silver medalist in the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO 2021 & 2022) and a bronze medalist in the Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO 2022). I was also among the six students who represented India and bagged a gold medal earlier in the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO 2019).
If you ask me about my favorite subject, I would not be able to choose between Mathematics and Science as a whole. Enjoying Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics also drive my interest in them. Due to my combined interest in these subjects, I have fortunately achieved a lot of achievements in these subjects.
The languages that I speak are Hindi, English, and Gujarati, and coming from a family of doctors my parents have taught me to have compassion toward people. I am a family-oriented person, I enjoy spending time with my parents, grandparents, and siblings. I enjoy having conversations with them and sharing my experiences and theirs.
Here are the three principles that I totally believe in and live by:
a glimpse of my life
Creativity keeps me refreshed and motivates me all the time. As I believe that creativity keeps a person innovative and vibrant resulting to have fun pouring my imagination on the paper.
Talking about my other hobbies, I would consider reading in them. I really enjoy the imaginative powers that writers put in the books. Listing the books that I’ve read are Harry Potter Sequel and other genres are Indian mythology. I’ve read Ramayana, Mahabharat, and Panchatantra stories which helps me understand the belief that we Indians have.
You can take a look at the pictures that gives a clear idea about my life. Well, I am into adventure too. I really like being close to nature and adventuring works for me in the same way
If you ask me about sports, cricket, basketball and table tennis have my heart. Along with that, I enjoy swimming and badminton. I’ve gained a second-degree black belt in taekwondo as well.
I’ve also given a shot to radio jockey when I was younger, it was fun.
I really find my family inspiring. My grandparents are fond of my achievement and it makes them happy. I like to make them proud and always get motivated with their support. My grandparents are quite supportive of anything I do, they have believed in me and help me achieve greater things.
I get motivation by
My academic journey
my love for marvel
Marvel Avengers has my heart, I enjoy the fandom and I’m a huge fan of Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The characters always have a unique style and a unique concept that they show on the screen. I really want to meet the Avengers cast of the MCU. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is also a part of my life. I follow some very deep quotes quoted by the heroes and take them into action.
I live the characters as real as possible and try to include in them in my life. Some of my favorite quotes said by the characters of the Marvel Avengers are “I can do this all day” said by Steve Rogers and “The hardest choices require the strongest wills” by Thanos in Avengers Infinity War.
They inspire me to do what is right and fight against my weaknesses which are pulling me down. They also depict unity among each other and working together for the greater good.
I’ve tried to mention some of my favorite quotes by the MCU by the side.
my foodie side
One of my biggest weaknesses is being a foodie. Well, it comes with every Indian. Being an India and not being a foodie, a rare combo. Cooking is also one of my interests and it balances my foodie side. Being a foodie, I enjoy cooking as much as I enjoy eating them.
I enjoy all types of cuisines in general. Well, the dishes that I can cook the best are Pavbhaji and Sandwiches.
Another thing that I can consider as one of my strengths is being highly enthusiastic and self-motivated. I am always eager to learn new and different things. I can even spend hours without getting tired of learning and knowing new things.
defining my Goals
Currently, after taking admission in CSE at IIT Bombay, I look forward to explore the plethora of computer science and the wonders it can offer.
I would rather divide my goals in, next 5 years and then further 10-15 years.
Next 5 Years- When I went to Doha, Qatar for the IJSO 2019 Finals in the month of December, I was very much impressed by the competition, the environment and level of competency by other International students.
I was recognized globally for representing our country which made me so proud. This incident gave me a kick to explore the world, enter the field of research and try to do something which is considered to be helpful globally.
Next 10-15 Years- To work in such an environment where learning and knowledge are limitless. I love to do experiments, I want to explore things and besides livelihood, I want to enjoy life fully.
I want my name after 10-15 years in such a way that could be recognised to the entire world for my works.
